Every week, Soup Angels sets out with a clear promise: to go where the need is, not just where it’s easy to reach. This mission has taken the team through neighborhoods like Lakewood, Pleasant Grove, Downtown Dallas, and many quiet corners in between. These are places where neighbors often go unseen, unheard, and unfed.

As the outreach routes expanded, challenges grew. Some streets became too narrow for the Rescue Van. Some families lived just far enough off the main roads that reaching them became difficult. At the same time, the health of the outreach team shifted, making it harder to cover these distant areas. Yet, the need remained urgent.

That’s when one extraordinary person stepped in to help.
