Food Safety is the non-negotiable foundation of every kitchen. This program trains students, volunteers, and future chefs to handle food safely, prevent contamination, maintain sanitation, and protect the health of every person they serve. It equips participants with the knowledge, habits, and systems required to maintain a safe kitchen environment at home, in professional settings, and in Soup Angels outreach operations. Participants will master core competencies including kitchen hygiene, temperature control, allergen awareness, and proper food storage to ensure every meal is served with care and safety.
