This program trains students in the flavor science, cultural history, and pairing logic behind matching global beer styles with iconic comfort foods — from German lagers and pretzels to Belgian ales and stews, Mexican lagers and tacos, British ales and pies, and American craft beers with BBQ. It’s approachable, fun, and incredibly community‑friendly. The purpose is to develop confident cooks and hosts who understand beer styles, tasting technique, pairing principles, global comfort dishes, and event‑ready pairing menus, with specific adaptations for Soup Angels donor dinners and community education.
