Mobile street outreach plays a vital role in reaching people who face food insecurity but cannot easily access traditional food pantries or meal sites.

Today, we celebrate Cheryl Wurtz, a long-time supporter who has become a vital Pantry Angel for Soup Angels. Some people don’t just show up—they lift entire missions. Cheryl is one of those people.

The kitchen holds a unique stillness before the cooking starts. It is a calm filled with possibility. The air is cool, the counters clean, and the ingredients patiently waiting.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Soup Angels Training Academy—a complete 15-program certification pathway designed to empower every volunteer, partner, and supporter with the tools to serve with safety, heart, and excellence.

Thanks to Devlina Ghosh’s generosity and belief in the mission, Soup Angels now has a small outreach scooter.

Lentils, rich in protein and fiber, offered strength and sustained energy. Root vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes brought natural sweetness and warmth, evoking memories of home-cooked meals.

Every week, Soup Angels brings warmth and nourishment to hundreds of neighbors across Dallas.
